Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics (Advisor: Prof. Pitchayaporn Tantihkarnchana)
ECON 2005: Principles of Microeconomics, Fall 2023, Spring 2024
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Principles of Microeconomics, I supported instruction for more than one hundred undergraduate students across two semesters. In addition to assisting with lectures and course logistics, I independently delivered three full class sessions, each a 50-minute lecture integrating guided problem solving and Q&A, to maintain syllabus continuity during the professor’s conference absences. I organized and led four two-hour review sessions for 50–110 students, developing over 160 original practice questions with fully worked solutions and accompanying slides to reinforce key analytical concepts. I also held regular office hours at the Economics Tutor Center, providing individualized guidance to over fifty students on topics such as elasticity, consumer surplus, and market efficiency. Through this experience, I refined my ability to explain abstract economic models with clarity and to design learning materials that balance theoretical rigor with accessibility, skills that continue to inform my approach to both research and teaching.

ECON 2984 FYE SS: Pathway in Economics, Fall 2022
As a Peer Mentor for Pathway in Economics, I worked with first-year students to facilitate their transition into the major and to strengthen their understanding of foundational economic concepts. I led weekly Zoom sessions that provided targeted feedback and clarification on assignments, using educational technology tools to enhance accessibility and engagement. Acting as a liaison between students and faculty, I reported on student progress and coordinated with instructors to align feedback and grading standards across sections. To support students’ conceptual learning, I developed learning aids, including one-page concept maps, formula sheets, and step-by-step problem walkthroughs that helped connect theory to real-world applications. In addition to group guidance, I offered individual mentoring on study strategies and time management, helping students establish consistent academic routines. This experience deepened my commitment to mentorship and honed my ability to communicate complex material with empathy and precision—an approach I continue to apply in both teaching and research.
Giving Forward, New York, NY
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Specialist, June 2025 - Present
At Giving Forward, a nonprofit focused on cause marketing and social-impact partnerships, I apply quantitative analysis to evaluate and optimize brand collaboration strategies. I built a brand tracker in Excel encompassing product categories, price tiers, and engagement metrics to benchmark partner performance and inform audience targeting. Drawing on CSR reports, press releases, and social media analytics, I conducted competitor and sentiment analyses to assess the impact of donation-based campaigns. I merged and visualized pre- and post-campaign social signals—brand mentions, likes, and comment rates—producing before-and-after dashboards that guided strategy revisions and contributed to a 22% increase in public engagement over the previous year. Beyond analysis, I translated these findings into data-backed pitch decks to help leadership evaluate key performance indicators and align marketing initiatives with organizational goals. I also established the organization’s social media presence from the ground up across three platforms, developing visual content and platform-specific messaging that strengthened online visibility and brand coherence.
Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA
Co-Founder and Account Manager of the Economics Club in the Department of Economics, Fall 2022
I co-founded the Economics Club at Virginia Tech to promote economics as both an academic discipline and a professional pathway. Working with a faculty sponsor, I coordinated with departmental staff to organize approximately ten faculty and alumni talks—attended by over 300 students—that introduced fields such as applied microeconomics and policy analysis. I handled logistics including room booking, Q&A moderation, and event documentation, and managed the club’s TikTok account through a weekly content calendar, designing posters in Canva and using analytics to schedule announcements and drive attendance. To foster peer engagement, I organized movie nights and game sessions, including a self-designed “Nash Equilibrium Chess” activity that introduced strategic reasoning through interactive play. This initiative helped build an inclusive community that connected students with faculty and demonstrated how economic principles can translate into real-world insight and collaboration.
Virginia Tech Chinese Students and Scholars Association (VT-CSSA), Blacksburg, VA
Executive Officer & Event Host, Fall 2021
As an Executive Officer and Event Host for VT-CSSA, I co-led the planning and execution of five large-scale cultural events, each attracting over 300 attendees. Working with a team of eight organizers, I developed detailed event rundowns, vendor checklists, and promotional timelines, ensuring coordination across logistics, safety, and media coverage. During events, I served as lead host and stage coordinator, managing live transitions, audience engagement, and real-time scheduling adjustments while supervising backstage operations for lighting, sound, and stage crews. I also collaborated with the publicity team to draft hosting scripts and produce post-event highlight videos, published within 24 hours on WeChat and YouTube. This experience enhanced my ability to manage complex live operations under pressure, communicate clearly across teams, and balance precision with adaptability in public-facing environments.
CrossCity Culture Advertising Media Co., Ltd, Shenzhen
Chief Operating Officer Assistant, January 2021- May 2021
Selected from over twenty applicants to assist the Chief Operating Officer of NONHUMAN, a subsidiary fashion brand under CrossCity Culture Advertising Media Co., Ltd., I supported cross-departmental coordination and managed the COO’s scheduling and project communications. I oversaw model casting for ten participants and evaluated five potential photoshoot locations, selecting the final site based on brand image alignment and event objectives—an effort that received commendation from clients. During Shenzhen Fashion Week, I produced an observation report analyzing branding strategies, emphasizing how visual presentation and spatial rhythm convey identity beyond the garments themselves. I also visited and reported on a Louis Vuitton VIC event, studying how luxury storytelling and atmosphere design elevate customer experience, and proposed improvements for NONHUMAN’s event staging. These experiences deepened my understanding of how symbolic cues, spatial design, and narrative coherence shape consumers’ perception of value—an insight that later became central to my academic research on fashion branding and consumer behavior.
